Sometimes I get to thinking
That I wish my life was a movie
And I can skip through the parts I don’t like
Don’t you think that’d make for such a better life?
But I know that you’re such a reader
Do you still go to sleep in my T-shirts?
You know, I always hated to see you cry
Now the only thing I can admit is I realize that
I always feel like shit
It always ends like this
One day I hope that you will realize how much you changed
I wish I knew that it’d be the last time that I’d see you
I would have told you everything’s cool
It’s not that I played it cool
